Caring for Minds. Rethinking Time.
Public Health Innovation and Time Management in Healthcare Systems
An event dedicated to exploring innovation in public health and time management in healthcare systems — through the insights of experienced professionals in policy and medicine.
Language: French / Portuguese
Limited number of participants: 45
Tickets: Members & open to the public (paid)
Registration deadline: April 20th, 2026
This event offers an interdisciplinary reflection on two major issues in contemporary health systems: access to mental health care and time management in care pathways.
Ricardo Marques will present the proposal to create a single mental health hotline in Luxembourg, explaining its rationale, objectives, and potential in terms of guidance, prevention, and faster responses to situations of psychological distress.
Dra. Margarida Cordeiro Carraco will address the issue of time in the healthcare sector: clinical time, administrative time, listening time, and decision-making time. Her intervention will highlight the need to rethink the organisation of care in order to improve both system efficiency and the quality of human support.
Together, these two interventions will open a debate on public health innovation, accessibility, efficiency, and the importance of placing the human at the centre of health policies.
Participants are informed that they may appear in photographs or videos taken during the event, which may be published on print and/or digital media (website, social networks, etc.).
