On 8 January 2026, the ESCALA community gathered for a new ESCALA Connect – Afterwork event, held at the Restaurant Collectif Grel, in an atmosphere that was both friendly and conducive to professional exchanges.
Designed as an informal meeting space for members, partners, and entrepreneurs, ESCALA Connect aims to foster human connections, dialogue, and the sharing of experiences beyond traditional frameworks. This edition fully embodied this spirit, bringing together diverse profiles for a warm and inspiring moment.
The event was marked by the presence ofGérald Mangin, Chief Operating OfficerofWidoo – Better Together, the collaborative purchasing group active in Luxembourg and Belgium. Through open and accessible exchanges, he shared his vision of collaborative work, resource pooling, and the importance of creating sustainable synergies between companies.
In a relaxed setting, participants were able to discover the Widoo model, discuss the current challenges facing organisations, and talk about concrete practices that promote collective performance. These conversations led to many enriching interactions, reinforcing the sense of community that characterises ESCALA.
Beyond the content, this afterwork was primarily an opportunity tocreate authentic connections, strengthen existing relationships, and initiate new ones, in an environment conducive to listening and closeness.
ESCALA Connect thus stands as a key format of the ESCALA dynamic: a space where ideas flow, where experiences intersect, and where the human dimension remains at the heart of professional exchanges.
