It is with immense honour that the ESCALA Business Club asbl welcomed, during an express visit to Luxembourg, theSecretary of State for Portuguese Communities, for an exclusive lunch organised at the restaurant Mar by Opusmer, in Rollingergrund, one of the renowned establishments owned by a club member.
This privileged moment, in the presence of a selection of ESCALA members, allowed for constructive and sincere exchanges on the current issues facing the Portuguese community in Luxembourg, its growing role in the local economic fabric, as well as on the need to strengthen cooperation links between Luxembourg and Portugal.
The discussions notably focused on:
- the challenges faced by Portuguese entrepreneurs in the Grand Duchy,
- the prospects for return or investment in Portugal,
- and the necessity to encourage more economic and cultural bridges between the two countries.
“These direct exchanges with institutional representatives are essential to make the voice of an active, dynamic community that is deeply attached to its roots heard.”
