The ESCALA 4 Real Estate Cluster inaugurated its first event on 4 December, bringing together industry professionals, technology experts, and institutional players. This meeting, organised at the Portuguese Cultural Centre, marks the beginning of an annual cycle dedicated to the future of real estate in Luxembourg, with a particular focus on digitalisation and strategic partnerships.
A cluster dedicated to structuring, connecting, and energising the sector.
The Real Estate cluster aims to become a reference platform for:
- promoting cooperation between Lusophone and international professionals,
- encouraging the sharing of knowledge and experiences,
- identifying trends in the Luxembourg market,
- creating bridges between Luxembourg, Portugal, and the Greater Region.
This annual cycle will revolve around four thematic meetings covering all major issues in the sector: digitalisation, shopping centres, financing, regulation, investment, and new forms of ownership.
Theme of the day: digital tools and strategic partners
For this first edition, three renowned speakers provided precise insights into current challenges and emerging solutions.
Jorge De Oliveira — Smart Cube / Cubi
He presented the new possibilities offered by digitalisation in real estate:
optimisation of workflows, data valuation, automation, and value creation through smart platforms.
His intervention demonstrated how technology can enhance the efficiency of agencies and providers while improving the customer experience.
Lisa Desnoyers-Alphonse — Apimo
His intervention highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence in the sector.
With intuitive tools, Apimo enables real estate agents to improve their digital visibility, streamline their operations, and gain competitiveness in an increasingly demanding market.
Paulo Madureira — Real Estate Chamber of Luxembourg
Drawing on his institutional experience, he provided a clear overview of the Luxembourg market.
He particularly emphasised the importance of continuous adaptation by professionals in response to technological, regulatory, and societal changes, as well as the necessity to maintain a high level of ethics and professionalism.
A foundational and promising event.
This first meeting was marked by active participation and particularly rich exchanges. The discussions highlighted:
- a growing interest in digital tools,
- a strong willingness to collaborate among sector players,
- and a real need for platforms that facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practices.
The energy present in the room confirmed the relevance of the cluster and its potential to become a structuring hub for reflection and action within the ESCALA Business Club.
Next steps
The Real Estate cycle will continue with 2 more events in 2026, the next of which, scheduled for March, will be dedicated to the role and evolution of shopping centres in Luxembourg.
The ESCALA Business Club continues to affirm its commitment to supporting professionals, stimulating exchanges, and encouraging innovation in a key sector of the Luxembourg economy.
