Escala Business Club was proud to be represented this week at an exclusive exchange session organised by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, bringing together accredited bilateral chambers of commerce and international business clubs.
Our President Michel Bastos and Vice President Filipe Vilas Boas participated in this important dialogue, reinforcing EBCLP ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful connections across Luxembourg’s international business ecosystem.
A Constructive Exchange with International Partners
The session, dedicated to the Work in Luxembourg initiative, provided a valuable platform for open and constructive discussion among key stakeholders. Representatives from a wide network of chambers and business associations gathered to share insights, experiences, and perspectives on talent-related challenges and opportunities.
The programme combined:
- A comprehensive overview of the Work in Luxembourg initiative and its tools
- Contributions from leading institutional actors, including the Ministry of the Economy, Luxinnovation, and the Chamber of Commerce Talent Desk
- Practical insights drawn from the field experience of international chambers operating across different markets
For Escala Business Club Luxembourg-Portugal, this exchange was an excellent opportunity to both contribute to and learn from a diverse network of partners, all working toward a shared objective: strengthening Luxembourg’s attractiveness as a destination for international talent.
Supporting Luxembourg’s Talent Ecosystem
One of the key takeaways from the discussion was the importance of alignment and clarity when communicating about professional life in Luxembourg. Ensuring that information is accurate, consistent, and grounded in real-world experience is essential for attracting and integrating international talent effectively.
The dialogue highlighted how close cooperation between institutions and business networks—such as EBCLP —plays a critical role in:
- ·Promoting Luxembourg internationally
- Supporting companies in their talent needs
- ·Facilitating smoother integration of professionals relocating to the country
Looking Ahead
The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining ongoing dialogue with its accredited partners, recognising that continuous exchange is key to staying aligned with the evolving needs of the labour market.
Escala Business Club warmly welcomes this approach and looks forward to continuing its active engagement in future initiatives that support Luxembourg’s economic development and international positioning.
We thank the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and all participating partners for this valuable exchange—and remain committed to supporting our members through insights, connections, and opportunities that matter.
