The Luxembourg Sardine Confraternity held its Enthronement Ceremony, a highly symbolic occasion celebrating tradition, fellowship and cultural heritage. The event welcomed three guest confraternities: the Estarreja Rice Cultivation Confraternity, the Avanca Broa Confraternity, and the Portimão Sardine Confraternity, which acted as the Godmother Confraternity for this special occasion.
ESCALA was also represented at the ceremony by its Secretary-General, Etelvina Correia.
The event strengthened the bonds of friendship, cooperation and the promotion of Portuguese gastronomic and cultural heritage beyond Portugal's borders.
